MORE RP IDEAS /jazz hands

this time we’re kind of thinking of what might happen if Oncie starts getting sick from the truffula tufts (as they’re toxic) and Twi starts to take his place in the company and more or less takes over! The idea is that Twi kind of goes out of his way to make Oncie proud and that the nerves from worry over Oncie and issues with the Lorax and a general distaste for his family and whatnot turns him into a being driven by wrath, instead of greed.

Thus, his suit was designed in red and black. Added a dash of cream for class.

SO HERE’S WHAT’S GOING DOWN.

it’s kind of an au sort of thing where the truffula trees have this oil that’s toxic to humans. ONCIE DOESN’T KNOW THIS, obviously; and it starts to get to his head the more and more he works with the truffula tufts. He starts to hallucinate— first, he hears a voice in the back of his mind, then a voice outside his head, then he sees something come out of his mirror, and now it acts as a very real being and is one of his only friends— and it’s been dubbed the Twice-ler. I play the Twice-ler; this is his conceptual design. <:

It’s only toxic to the humans, anyway. The Lorax has failed to see Twi; and, really, so has everybody else so far. We’ll see how this goes on, though. Once Oncie’s family gets into the truffula forest it’s going to get really interesting.

SO THE RESULTS CAME OUT FOR THE FRENCH CONTEST THAT MY LAST PIECE (see below) WAS ENTERED IN. You know, the monet one with le horla.

I placed 1st with that one, and bande dessinee (comic strip)— the second of three categories I competed in— placed 2nd. I don’t have that back yet, though, otherwise I’d have posted it.

IT’S MONET. Originally, it was going to have Le Horla and the beast of gevaudan, but I cannot canines. |I then I tried some random frenchie but that didn’t work. MONET WORKED. SO MONET GOT STUCK IN IT.

/SIDENOTE: Le Horla is a french horror novel about an invisible presence that follows this guy around. It’s been illustrated, though, so for the french competition, I took my stab at it. <:

kissus, the one vaguely valentine’s thing I drew. This year’s Valentine’s day was kind of some ordinary tuesday for me, save for posting history/english valentine’s on the board in my first period class (and getting pretty good reception for them. hehe.) Not that I made most of them up. Half of them were my own design, half were from tumblr.

My matesprit and I didn’t do anything, but I’m actually totally fine with that. I’d rather have a “valentine’s day” in the middle of summer and go have dinner when we don’t have to worry about school and crap like that.

Anyhow. This is one of my few OTPs still standing. And it’s not even really still standing anymore. orz I’ll have to see about that more later, when the other half is actually available :< ;;

This was for a Great Gatsby project for my Hist/Eng class. My clan was supposed to design three political adds each for two people— one from the book, one historical. Luckily, we got Gatsby and Charlie Chaplin. :D I drew this poster for my clan, of Gatsby, kind of a mock of Uncle Sam’s I WANT YOU to join the army or something or rather

the pun is that Gatsby in the book, if you haven’t read it, hosts a ton of parties. And in the poster, he’s asking you to join his political party. Both of which are intended to impress Daisy. |Dc
